MERLO Message me

How it works

From a message to a first session, usually within a week

Nothing here is complicated, and none of it commits you to anything before you've spoken to me.

The steps

Four of them, in order

You send a message

Tell me briefly what's going on. You don't need the right words for it yet, and you don't need to explain everything. A couple of sentences is enough to start.

We agree on a time

I'll come back with the times I have open, and we find one that fits your week. Most first sessions happen within a few days.

The first session

Fifty minutes over Google Meet. We go through what brought you here, some of your history, and what you'd want to be different. Towards the end we start mapping out what the work might look like.

There's no commitment beyond that session. We decide together whether to continue, and if I'm not the right person for what you're bringing, I'll say so and point you towards someone better suited where I can.

If we continue

Once it's clear we're working together, we both sign a written agreement setting out how the work runs: frequency, fees, cancellations, confidentiality. Most people meet weekly to begin with, and we review the rhythm as we go.

Timing

When sessions happen

Days
Weekdays
United Kingdom
Usually between 5pm and 9pm
Denmark
Usually between 6pm and 10pm
Clock changes
These times shift by an hour when European clocks change

If your week doesn't fit that, say so when you message. It's worth asking before assuming it won't work.

Practical

What you need on your end

A stable connection and a device with a camera. Beyond that, somewhere you can speak without being overheard, which matters more than people expect. A closed room is ideal, and headphones help.

Ready when you are

A message is enough to start. You don't need to explain everything in it.
